The Meeting Filter™

Should we be in this meeting?

Before you invite ctrl+love into a room, answer three questions.

  1. Is the question still alive?
  2. Is there useful disagreement?
  3. Is someone willing to be wrong?

A small diagnostic for detecting whether an organization is ready for judgment, or only looking for confirmation.

Answer the three questions to test the room.

Green room

Invite ctrl+love.

The question is alive. The tension is useful. Someone is willing to be wrong.

Amber room

Run a small stress-test first.

There may be potential, but the room needs proof before poetry.

Red room

Politely decline.

The answer is already politically chosen. We stay home.

Not every room deserves better thinking.
Some rooms need a polite no.

Use it before the invite.
